Principal
I am passionate about Christian Education and being part of preparing and equipping the next generation of leaders. I enjoy working with young people and giving them opportunities to experience success in their learning. When I am not at school, you can find me exploring nature and walkways with my wife, Katie, and our three kids. I love sports & adventure and enjoy being active and interacting with others on the sportsfield. It is my personal fitness goal to complete the Godzone Adventure Race before I turn 50!

I am passionate about teaching and consider myself blessed to teach at our beautiful Christian school. I have taught within the education sector for 8 years and love the community aspect of teaching and the privilege of working in partnership with families to grow children into the fullness of what God intends for them to be. I am a mother of three amazing children and a wife to a wonderful man. I love reading, healthy living, being creative, and getting to know people and their stories.

Life for me started on a beautiful tropical island called Trinidad and Tobago. I am the product of a fusion of cultures which represent the historical landscape of Trinidad and I cherish diversity. I am a fervent believer in Adventist education. My philosophy as a teacher is that every child can experience success when we define success as 'doing the best we can with what God has bestowed upon us'.
I am so very blessed to be a part of the wonderful team here at Hamsda. There is warm blend of collegiality and fellowship in a healthy, exuberant atmosphere which nourishes the mind, body and soul. Hamsda is a model Adventist school which is actively promoting the vision of our church for the glory of our
Lord, Jesus Christ. It is exciting to see how God is leading our school and making it a special place for His children to thrive.
